The sport’s biggest supporter base will prove why the west is best

didn`t read the rest, but the headline made me giggle enough.

a vibrant footballing community is not a supporter base waiting for an a-league team to sit in front of.  its a bunch of people who love soccer.

  1. Absolutely agree. It’s a crucial distinction and the FFA often seems to pretend it doesn’t exist.

  2. hi hamish, a lot of these thoughts came together after reading some of your recent blogging and thinking about the guys i play soccer with.

    unfortunately, the ffa are smart, but not as smart as they think they are. doing a lot of good, but making misteps along the way.

  3. they say they want a team in Sydney’s west then suggest it plays at ANZ – the FFA do not know what they are doing – the Western team needs to play at Parramatta, Blacktown or Penrith.
