was very very pleased.  roar kept the ball on the deck a lot.  they started flighting it at the end when they were buggered/panicking, but all up, they kept the ball on the deck and passed to the open team mate … showing patience to wait for the off the ball movement, and also showing the intelligence to make the runs to give team mates passing choices.

mcmasters confidence grew as the game ended.  some nice nice work to keep ccm out at the end.  yeah, he was responsible for simon`s first goal, but still.

one thing i like about minniecon is he knows what he is good at.  running at defenders with the ball at his feet.  he knows what he is good at, and he does it.  mike zullo, he seems to have forgotten that he is good at running at defenders with the ball at his feet … he needs to remember, and start taking defenders on again, cos if he forgets about his strengths, what`s he good for?

best mckay performance for a while.  a big hand in both early goals.
